Protect Your Eyes from Eyestrain
I had been a consistent computer user for the last 18 years of my life. Since 1990, I had been a hobbyist and done much more of my stuff with my first desktop pc. During that year, I was using a CGA paper white monitor up until in late 1994 when I first entered a career in electronic data processing, which took me from using different generations of computer systems that uses different types of monitor like the green character displayed CRT’s, paper white, and later in 1996 a colored VGA monitor.
I had been an employee for 6 years in the company and I had never tried or needed an eye correction glasses because, I had been cautious to protect my eyes from computer eyestrain. Maintaining and protecting my vision was on my top priority every time I am required to work in front of a computer or by reading bulk documents in a prolonged period. The secret that took me from avoiding eyestrain for several years was simple; do not make it a habit staring with your monitor more than 30 minutes. Practice it and make your eyes rest by staring at far places in your room or work places for about a minute or two.
