Windows XP Service Pack 3 is Available
I have upgraded my XP Home with Service Pack 3 (SP3) and spent around 40 minutes with installation process using an Athlon XP1700 processor with 512mb system memory and a 20Gb Seagate HDD @ 5200 rpm. After the installation, my disk space went down by 300mb of disk space from 1.8 GB down to 1.5 GB. There are no significant changes about the speed and visual looks of XP.
However, if you are using a third party theme pack for your PC, I recommended uninstalling it prior to SP3 installation. In my case, the Vista Inspirat 2 theme pack from crystalxp.net was improperly behaving. Just reinstall it after you are done with SP3 installation.
